Taverham care home death – Inquest
An inquest has been taking place into the death of a man in a Norfolk care home. He was recieving palliative care and a verdict of natural causes was recorded. Concerns had been raised in part because of previously raised concerns about record keeping at the home.
“The son and daughter of an elderly man who died in a care home said they would “never really know” the real cause of their father’s death.
An inquest was held yesterday into the death of Patrick Fortune, who was 79 and in the late stages of heart failure when he died in November 2007.”
