One week left on CQC registration standards guidance

CQC is working toward a news set of registration standards that will apply to all regulated health and adult social care providers from 2010. There is one week left on this vital consultation

“From April 2010, providers – large or small, private or public – that run healthcare or adult social care services must be registered with us. We will only register them if they meet essential common standards of safety and quality.

The Government will set the ‘registration requirements’ in law. We are producing guidance that makes clear to providers what they will need to do to meet these requirements.

This guidance is important. Whether you use health or adult social care services, or you are involved in providing them, this guidance will affect you. That’s why we want feedback from as many people and organisations as possible.”
